Trump National Golf Club in Sterling hit by Vandals
The Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, host of the upcoming Senior PGA Championship and several visits by the president and his high-profile guests, was hit by vandals over the weekend for a second time since election day.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reported Monday that the golf course fairway was damaged and rocks were spray painted in red and orange. The club is located in the 20300 block of Lowes Island Blvd.

The destruction of property incident would have occurred late Friday night or early Saturday. President Donald Trump played golf there on Sunday with Sen. Rand Paul and Mick Mulvaney, director of the Office of Management and Budget.
The Loudoun Times reported Monday that the vandals spray painted "Resist" on the course and empty jugs of bleach were found on site. NBC4's helicopter snagged a photo of what appears to be the anarchist symbol carved into the fairway, in addition to the word "Resist."
Trump acquired the two-course, 800-acre club, once known as Lowes Island Club, in 2009 from Chevy Chase Bank.
The 2017 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship will run from May 23-28. Roughly 50,000 spectators are expected. Eric Trump is leading the effort for the Trump Organization.
