TAMPA, FL- May 4, 2021 - The Leisure Investment Properties Group of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, announced the sale of Lake Presidential Golf Club located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland (DC Metro). Lake Presidential Golf Club is a championship caliber daily fee golf club providing guests a "Member For A Day" experience. Rob Waldron, Partner of the LIPG represented the seller who was a developer. Steve Ekovich represented the buyer, a regional golf ownership and management company.

The Club serves as the recreation / social centerpiece of the BeechTree Residential Community. Lake Presidential Golf Club features an 18-hole championship golf course routed by Greg Norman Design and developed by Landmark Golf. Amenities include an 11,000 SF clubhouse with a fully stocked pro shop and bar & grill and practice facilities offering a grass driving range, Golf Academy, chipping green, and a putting green. The Club has been recognized by numerous regional and national publications as one of the premier daily fee courses in Maryland making it one of the most popular courses in the DC Metro market.

Lake Presidential Golf Club was acquired by a Golf Industry veteran who has owned and managed over 100 private clubs, daily fee golf courses and resorts during the past 44 years.
