We will be attending the Border Security Council Expo in San Antonio, Texas on January 31- February 1.
PowerFilm is working extensively with the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) US Border Patrol (USBP) to provide solar panels to remotely power surveillance equipment currently found defending the US border and to those emerging as future solutions.
By providing solar panels to sensors along the “virtual wall” PowerFilm will ease the cost and logistics of more standard power sources such as batteries and generators. PowerFilm is currently demonstrating its solar panel offerings and capabilities through a series of Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations.
