California Golf Courses Scorched by Fires
The ongoing California wildfires have destroyed more than 2,000 homes and burned through 115,000 acres of land, including golf courses. At Fountaingrove Golf and Athletic Club, the clubhouse, maintenance facility and golf course were burned down. Mayacama Golf Club, which is home to a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, suffered extensive damage to the course and maintenance facility.
