Click here for the latest edition of the PerformanceTrak Newsletter highlighting golf rounds and key revenue results for golf courses in the U.S. through October 2014.
Newsletter highlights for the month and year-to-date (YTD) are as follows:
-
As we continue to adjust for weather’s impact on days open, we noted that YTD October 2014 is maintaining its trend as the highest number of rounds played per day open in the last 5 years.
-
Rounds played for the month of October 2014 were up 1.3% nationwide over October 2013 with year-to-date (YTD) rounds played improving by two-tenths of one percent to down 1.2% for the year.
-
With October rounds in the books we have now accounted for 92% of rounds played for the year. As such, we expect to see year-end rounds played results at or near a 1% decline from 2013.
-
For the year, F&B and Total Revenues are up over YTD 2013 while Merchandise Revenue is consistent with 2013 and Golf Fee Revenue is off by only 0.4%.
