GCBAA Announces Board Election Results
LINCOLN, Neb. (December 1, 2014) — The Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) has announced the results of its recent board election.
"I am constantly impressed by the passion and dedication of this group of people," said Justin Apel, GCBAA Executive Director. "With so many new industry opportunities and partnerships I am excited to work alongside these directors to help provide our association’s members with the tools they need to grow their business and grow the game of golf."
The board officers are Rick Boylan, Mid-America Golf & Landscape, Inc. (president); Scott Veazey, Southeastern Golf, Inc. (president-elect); Dennis Wagner, Ewing Irrigation (vice president); Ellen Davis, SportZmix Solutions/Waupaca Sand & Solutions (secretary); Pat Karnick, Wadsworth Golf Construction Company (treasurer); and Kurt Huseman, Landscapes Unlimited, LLC (immediate past president).
Newly elected to the board is Tom Works, Landscapes Unlimited, LLC. Those remaining GCBAA board of directors consists of Ronnie Adkins, Aspen Corp.; Judd Duininck, Duininck Golf; Ed Eichmann, HARCO Fittings; Terry Gwinn, Best Sand Corp.; Allan MacCurrach, III, MacCurrach Golf; John McDonald, II, McDonald & Sons, Inc.; Frank Warden, The Toro Company; Rick Williamson, LASCO Fittings, Inc.; Stephanie Zimmerman, ADS/Hancor, Inc.
The new board will convene its first meeting Feb. 24, 2015, in San Antonio, to coincide with the Golf Industry Show.
