VGM Club Members Receive Over $250,000 In Rebates During Industry Shows
WATERLOO, Iowa - VGM Club representatives recently distributed rebate checks in excess of $250,000 to their members who attended the PGA Merchandise Show, GIS, and CMAA Expo.
These checks included rebates for food purchases through the Cash Back Advantage program, equipment purchases with Club Car, John Deere and Jacobsen as well as rebates on chemicals and fertilizers through Agrium/CPS.
"Show time is always a fun time for us," said Cam Schultz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Seeing old friends and meeting new ones, talking about 2013 opportunities and handing out checks to our members is what we live for."
This six week payout is a thirty percent increase from 2012. VGM Club, North America's premier purchasing solutions organization for clubs and resorts, paid over $1.5 million in rebates last year along with front-end discount savings to their members.
DJay Ellis, President of VGM Club, credits the breadth of the company's business model for the members' success.
"Our programs cover all aspects of club operations - F&B, clubhouse, pro shop, and agronomy," said Ellis. "It's imperative that we listen to our members and work with our vendor partners at the shows."
A number of new supplier partnerships were signed and others were extended at the shows which is critical for further increasing member savings.
"We work with more than 100 suppliers. We were pleased to extend our agreement for another three years with Agrium/CPS, which offers a great program on chemicals, seed and fertilizer," said Kent Dierks, VGM Club's Chief Operating Officer.
"We have also recently signed Sundog and CMC Golf to enhance our Pro Shop division. Additionally we added Monster Energy, 5 Hour Energy and Bridgford Foods, which offer additional revenue generating categories for our members in the food/concessions area," added Dierks.
