PGA Tour Superstore Teams up to Become Official Retailer for Women's Golf Day

PGA TOUR SUPERSTORE TEAMS UP TO BECOME OFFICIAL RETAILER FOR WOMEN’S GOLF DAY

MARCH 8, 2021

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. and ATLANTA – PGA Tour Superstore and Women’s Golf Day (WGD) have signed a multi-year agreement that will result in the two companies working together to support, engage and empower female golfers around the world year-round.  As well as participating in the WGD 2021 event across the PGA TOUR Superstore nationwide portfolio – hosting in-store events – the three-year deal includes the development of a WGD branded capsule collection to be available in-store and online.

“We have been a supporter of Women’s Golf Day since its inception and are thrilled to be growing our relationship with Women’s Golf Day through this incredible collaboration,” said Jill Spiegel, Senior Vice President, Merchandising at PGA TOUR Superstore. “Every day At PGA TOUR Superstore, we offer the largest variety and selection of apparel, equipment and accessories for women and we are committed to helping women –and everyone – enjoy this wonderful game.”

Women’s Golf Day is completely unique in the sporting world, being the only one-day, global celebration of female sport.  Launched in 2016, the annual event now takes place at more than 900 locations in 68 countries on the first Tuesday in June and continues to grow each year as the sport continues to rise in popularity. This year’s event takes place on June 1, 2021 and will celebrate the girls and women that play golf and are learning the skills that last a lifetime.

“In the last six years we have grown Women’s Golf Day globally and women across the world will be delighted with the new opportunities this relationship creates,” said Elisa Gaudet, Founder, Women’s Golf Day. “This new agreement signifies PGA TOUR Superstore’s commitment to empowering female golfers and increasing their opportunities to play.  Firstly, by showing that the company values them and most importantly by knowing that whenever they visit PGA TOUR Superstore in person, or online, they are welcome, appreciated and will find product ranges and services that have women and girls in mind.”

PGA TOUR Superstore will offer the WGD Capsule Collection both in-store and online. The collection includes branded apparel and accessories like shirts, balls, bags, and footwear from WGD partners Callaway, Titleist, FootJoy and Ahead. WGD VIP Members can also receive a free club fitting in any of the company’s 45 store locations. Products will be available in-store late spring.

Spiegel added, “Golf has tremendous benefits, both mental and physical, and we have watched as nearly half a million women took up the game in 2020. We are deeply committed to helping women get outside and onto the green – spending safe, fun and quality time with friends and family.”
